When a new year begins I often end up recollecting about the years past and wonder how I can help to make an impact on the earth and environment.  I always try to watch who my own life creates an impact, and I hope that it is one that is positive and helpful.  There are so many people out there though that sadden me.  These people live lives that are selfish and full of self-indulgent attitudes that cause problems not only for the people in their lives, but for the environment as well.
